    1. Washington DC
    2. United Airlines
    3. Distance: multiple beer flight
    4. Arrive Wednesday afternoon and depart Monday
    5. Staying at Circus Circus.
    6. I totally agree with the go-cart track by the Grand Sierra. Way cheaper than a casino.

      2. Method of travel, ie Car, RV, Motorcycle, flying, hitch hiking...
      3. Distance Travelling, 10, 100, 500, 5,000 miles...
      4. How many days at the Races...
      5. Camping, RV'ing, Hotels...
      6. Anything else interesting, ie came for a divorce (since the wife/girlfriend said I'd need one if I was to attend the Races...) and staying for the Races...

Looks like I missed a couple things here.

Staying 3 days and three nights, arrive Thursday evening then depart at the checkered flag Sun (that's typical the past few years), first time at Silver Legacy, because I always end up there at Brew Bros, after usually staying at Peppermill. Sadly my friend's band Steelbreeze isn't going to be there after three years in a row, but the new band looks pretty rocking. Going to try hiking in Lake Tahoe on Mt Rose to spice it up a bit on Sat before heading to the field later in the day.

      1999

2004, 5, 6, 8 9 and 10. Missed 07 because I was broke from a Euro trip. I ended up getting sick then too from a Bass ale alergy/overdose and couldn't drink anything but water- for three months (that sucked!!!). Glad I missed that year anyway with all the sad events.

                  Reno, Nevada.

Drive, but I have bicycled there before.

                  @ 2.5 miles.

                  Every day I can.

Staying at home, but tempted to camp someday! Sounds like fun.

                  Been going since '81.

Living close has it's advantages. I worked late this week so I had my alarm set for 11:30. At approximately 11:20 something fast made several high speed passes. Sounded like September Fury.

We get these wake up calls through out the week, and if the air is calm enough we can even hear the early morning runups! It's hard to stay away!

Long Beach (WA) to Portland, I-5 to just south of Eugene, through Oakridge, Klamath (no) Falls, and onto Reno....

Probably something in the range of 700 miles or so, driving the Silverado... (that rhymes!)

On the road probably about 8:20... only 2:20 late!
