  • Air Show DVDs

Just doing some research to see if an air show was being shot in High-Def and offered as a pre-sale to a full air show DVD, would anyone be interested in:

pre-buying at the show with a free shipping incentive.

    or

    waiting for an internet sale

    or

    wouldn't buy one at all.

    thanks

    Re: Air Show DVDs

A question I've pondered myself. Not HD but I'm sitting on video going back to 89 and stills and Super 8mm back into the 60s.

To answer your question. I'm always interested in air show and air race footage, but it's a hard sell unless people have seen some of your work. My perception is its a limited market, not one to get rich on. I don't own any Skyfire stuff for example.

I'm interested in what you have in mind though.

Bigger question, you going to the Stearman flyin at Cottage grove in about a week?

If so, check out Gary Thompson's bird! Beauty!

Bill, i have a bunch of video that i've transfered to DVD and some super8mm dating back to the 70's. As well as some video shot on the old full size video camera. One of the things i'd really like to do is get it posted on my website and be able to link it to you tube.

Have you had any experience in this area?

Are there any services out there that can transfer this material to an external hard drive?

Any tips would be most helpful!!

              Thanks, Anthony
