One more shot from my hand. The TBM line-up at KYIP. What an awesome site. Here's a link to the action on board the Bennington and their role in the sinking of the Yamato. My father-in-law was the radio man in the commander's TBM from VT-82.

What this doesn't tell is that they launched outside of safe return distance and they all ditched 50 miles out. The price of freedom!
