    Gil: Thanks for that beautiful PT-22 photo and the history about it. Here is a photo of Tex Rankin's Ryan STA that was flown by Put Humphreys in the 1939 airshow. It has his name under the cockpit but you probably won't be able to read it in this small image.

        Yeah I sure would have liked to have seen Bob Hoover perform in that T-28! I was fortunate enough to catch him at 1 of the old Reading shows in his P-51 and later at Sussex NJ in his famous Shrike Commander. That Ryan ST is the one I was thinking about before,thanks for posting it! Somewhere in all my stuff I have a pic of the same plane in a Hangar with other ships and can read his name upside down.I still am looking for it though!

          How About some Monocoupes Mr.Larkins,here is one I have of Dallas Warrens Monocoupe 110 Special who was a not so famous local airshow performer.This 110 was a striking Black and White!
