Okay, the guys who own and race WWII fighters are struggling to get by.

You may want to rethink your Stockholm Syndrome with the money boys who own and race airplanes.

Actually Nobody and not to pick a fight because yes I agree it does take big money to run a race team let alone a warbird, but in all honesty you would be surprised to find out that some of the owners both now and through out air race history were not what I would consider big money guys, if you haven't already you might want to read the book Racing for the gold, it's about Lyle Shelton and the Rare Bear, not saying Lyle was a poor man he had a good job at TWA, but that TWA salary only went so far and the author of the book goes into pretty good detail about how he and many other dedicated crew members kept the Bear going all those years.
