Unlimited flying boat class...that means the Martin Mars is in. Can't wait to see four raging 3350s dragging the Queen Mary with wings around the course. Should be enough room in the tanks for ADI fluid and nitrous bottles.

I keep thinking that some DEEP pocket producer should do a full on, big budget, biographical movie of Frank Tallman's life, including the Paul Mantz, "TallMantz Aviation" era.
Can you imagine the aviation budget the movie would require though?
(Unless Kermit Weeks came on board with the project!!!)

I think the fastest class of aircraft will be sport class turboprop powered birds. This will happen in September of 2029, during the 10th running of the Florida Keys NCAR.

So what airframes do you think they will use? I am not sure any of the existing airframes can handle 500mph? Would love to see it however.

3rd. generation, NXT 3.0 airframes can handle 550mph, no problem....nano carbon airframe, over-thruster technology, and more.

You guys will love it.
