Here's some Reno '09 NCAR pics capturing Jimmy racing Florida pal- Doug Matthews' beautiful navy-blue F4U-4 Corsair Race #24 out along the W. Chute 'Valley-of-Speed", bringing to mind the old time-worn cliche' about variety bein' the- 'spice of life'.

5-7. Race: Sun. 9/20/09-Bronze- Jimmy & the F4U-4 finished in 4th-place in the Bronze final, behind leader Doug Matthews' Sea Fury #117 (who forfeited his win to bump-up into the Silver), Freddie Cabanas' Mustang #52 & John-Curtiss Paul in P-40E #18-Sneak Attack, respectively.
