  • Snowbirds in Reno today.

Saw one come in yesterday and the rest flew over the house this morning. What are they up to?
You'll get your chance, smart guy!

I saw them while driving up 395 yesterday do a formation flyby at Reno/Tahoe with smoke on and come around to land. It startled me seeing that smoke at the BIG airport. Just leftover nerves I guess.

They have been here a couple of times in the past week. Saw three of them fly over RNO at about 100ft with the smoke on. It was pretty cool. Wonder if they are practicing at Stead?

I wonder where they park the planes for Fleet Week? S.F. Int.? I don't think Alameda NAS is available anymore, as the Navy just GAVE it to the city (No more Mythbusters episodes shot there? Aw...)

Most likely they will be at SFO on the east side of the field. In years past they have parked at OAK

The Blues typically land at SFO. One time I was crossing the SM bridge and saw all six in the delta formation on final to 28s. Nearly drove off the bridge watching. I assume the Snowbirds park there as well.

The Blue Angels cane into SFO today in traditional 'flight of 6, smoke-on' formation. Watched it from my office. They've based there the past few years. I'd bet the Snowbirds base there too. Hopefully I will get to see their arrival too!
Looking forward to seeing them on Sunday from the Marina Green!

Ah, thank yew all kindly. I knew it wasn't Moffett Field, as I live right next to it and haven't seen them here since the 90's.
