    Re: 2011 Super Sport

Relentless announces a new powerplant to capture the Gold at Reno 2011. Kevin Eldridge announced today his NXT Relentless will be powered by a twin turbocharged 720 cubic inch Lycoming for the September races. Performance numbers were not being disclosed, but, as always, we can expect Relentless to push the limits. Good luck.

Kevin Eldridge made the announcemant at his office this afternoon; obviously last years engine failure and prop loss was a tremendous blow to the Relentless team, but his team is named 'Relentless', could we expect anything less??

Long winter but Kenny at Lycon has finally started assembly of Relentless shiny new Lycoming 720 with brand new ECi balanced cylinders. If engine goes on stand by the end of week I plan on spending most of May installing new front end on Relentless up in Reno....

RELENTLESS received delivery of it's race engine for 2011, a 720 Cubic INCH Lycoming engine from LYCON. Kevin will begin the install next week and should be shaving the pylons at Reno during the practice session in June.
