"Randy had a better day. Not quite as defeated. Blood pressure still on the low side but not as scary. Tomorrow he will be having a trach and feeding tube put in. Please pray his surgery goes well and that this finally gets him on the road to recovery."

Surgery went very well today! Randy was very agitated after and kept trying to get out of his bed and was getting angry that he couldn't. Praying this is the start of the recovery road now and he is out of there soon. Going to be a hard long one but he can do it! I have received cards in the mail from some of you and I... will take them to him later when I go see him. Thanks for all the prayers!

As of Saturday...
As of this am Randy is off the ventilator and breathing on his own! He is in a very good mood today, still having to be suctioned but this is such a big step forward! Hes looking at everything very positive and just wanting to move forward. Thank you all for the prayers!

He's out of the ICU and in a private room. He's building up his strength. No word yet on when he'll start rehab.
