      Great pix of Jimmy. Thanks Neal. Takes me way back. Both he and young Stevo not only look somewhat alike, their outgoing friendly ways definately are from the same gene pool. If I could be God For A Day he would be the first one I'l bring back.

          Ahhhh, 82, one of those great memories.
          Sitting outside in the late evening, clouds passing thru after a late series of thunderstorms. SC had been out flying around for awhile when we heard her coming in with more power on than we had seen yet. The echos of that 4360 off of the clouds as she boomed around the area then dove down for a fast pass....

                Did the "Super Corsair" have any working flaps or where they closed permantly and faired in for less drag ? Just curious for a model I'm building...

                  I thad the inboard two sections, the outboard section was missing and a sheet metal section faired in as part of the wing. The reason was that the outboard flap sections were not available and time was of the essence.

                    You know -- Spinner is right. I think there is a real resemblance between young Steve and his Uncle Jim Maloney, especially from the front...
