That is a great video, the RNZAF currently does not operate any fighter type aircraft, as No75 sqdn flew the A4K skyhawks until the current govt disbanded the strike wing in 2001. The Strike wing consisted of the A4K's of 75 sqdn and the Airmacchi 339 trainer/light attack jets of 14 sqdn these aircraft are now currently in storage pending sale, but this sale has been delayed for approx 5yrs as US State Dept have blocked the sale due to technologies used in the A4K's after they went through the Project Kahu upgrades in the late 80's early 90's
Currently the RNZAF operates the CT4 airtrainer, Beech King Air, C-130H, P3K orion, and Boeing 757 the fixed wing arena, and the Bell 47, UH-1 and Kaman SH2GNZ on the rotary wing side.
Currently the C-130's are undergoing wing and avionic upgrades, and the 757's are also undergoing modifications for improved self defence and cargo handling away from base.race fan, photographer with more cameras than a camera storeComment
