    Heh-heh. Reminds me of the time CNN claimed that the space shuttle could travel 18 times THE SPEED OF LIGHT. Just a LITTLE off the mark there perhaps?

      I'm a poor "trekkie", but if I recall correctly, warp 1 was the speed of light, and every step up would be multiplied by 3 or 4 (warp 2 = 3 times the S.O.L., warp 3 = 9 times, etc...)

      Here's a chart showing the actual speed conversions. By this chart, Warp 18 would be 5,832 the speed of light! Swept wings, anyone?

        I come from hither yander...... where all this gooleizing, math and techi-stuff is tooo much 2 handle.

        Sorry to vent.... but the few precious seconds between meetings and der corporate double-speak is a bit 2 much shyte for me.
