While they are a bit out of place.... it IS impressive how much control those guys have over their vehicles. I dreaded it the first time I saw it on the schedule, but now I actually look forward to it... beats the Jet car!

You've got to be kidding!!! When I saw that on the schedule I thought Steve Hinton was going to be flying the Draken again, that would have been kinda cool, but this will definitely go on my schedule as time to head for the beer tent!!!

Sorry RARA, I'm sure SAAB probably pays a lot of $$ to get this publicity stunt incorporated into the schedule, but let's keep in mind that this is an AIR-show!!!

I thought maybe a Draken too,

Maybe it's an odd act at an air race but I have to say they get my respect.
Synchronized Hand brake turns and 360's, in the auto world that's the sort of talent like formation aerobatics from the teams we love to watch.

If all the drivers on the roads had that level of skills (all the one's I see sure don't) the world would be a much safer place.

Ok its like this, there are six saab demo drivers I think, and at least six days of competition and any chance they can get the wall of fire, (napalm sim, I forget what they called it), added into the schedule.
So at the end of their display an F-16 comes in and does a napalm drop.

Uh simulated drop that it.
