Eddie's Airplane Patch-Birthplace of the "Sonic Boom".......and I'm reminded every friggin' day!
A friend of mine and I tried to talk Mr. Jepson, who recently sold this plane and owned two other p-51's, into buying Dago Red when she went up for sale. To say he was not interested would be an understatement .
It would have been nice to have a race plane with the pedigree of Dago at Savannah however.
