          Ah, my second Air Race, (the first was Hamilton 88,) and those were great days. Sitting in a friend's RV on the ramp in his pits at Reno last Sept, I reflected back on the Reno 88, days, when I first came to Reno and knew absolutely nobody, couldn't afford a pit pass or more than a day inside the gates (so I watched the Gold from speed alley) and being an acquaintance of people like Steve Hinton was something I could only dream about.
