So maybe what you have in the Sea Fury is more like a 427 Corvette with all it's brute Horsepower and finess and the Pitts is really the Ferrari afterall.

As an after thought see how long you can fly in a Pitts for 200 bucks, then see how long you can fly the Sea Fury for 200 bucks. The Dashmeister might have it right afterall.

I've flown in a P-51, P-40, F7F, B-23, T-28, L-39, PBY, Cristen Eagle and a Waco UPF-7. But the most fun I've had flying was in a Ryan PT-22. The F7F was right behind the PT-22 in ranking though.

FWIW.. I think I'd stick with the Pitts also. Much higher fun/$$ ratio.

FLY? Can you even get through a runup and mag check on a 3350 or 4360 for $200?

Hey, thats good stuff! You are just jealous that the Twinkle Company sponsors the Wildcat instead of your Pitts.

FWIW, those are probably AMRAAMs out on the wingtips. Regarding "overkill", what is the appropriate amount of force needed for that scenario? The Sidewinder is the smallest missile in the US inventory.

Read in the newspaper where a couple of F-16's intercepted someone flying from Concord to Pine Mountain Lake. Escorted him to Merced where he was met by local law enforcement. He was asked if they could search his airplane and was very cooperative. The search turned up a 38 revolver. He was not arrested, but the matter was turned over to the FAA for action. I think someone forgot to check the NOTAMS

Perhaps SHE should go to the "World Can't Wait " Rally and shake things up, instead of the Blues.

Don't know about a carrying a weapon in an airplane, but flying thru a TFR, especially one associated with the President is a BIG NO NO.......I think having the gun just added to the guys problems.
