Any news on what going on in the various camps? Here's a few questions I have:

1. Will Miss America make it this year?
2. Will Voodoo have a race engine?
3. There was some talk a while back that Precious Metal was going to get some mods after PRS & TOR filming. Did/is that happening? Who's going to fly PM if Ron is in the Bear?
4. For the most part, there's been no news on Rare Bear. Is she healthy? Any new mods?
5. Is September Fury back together yet? Anything new there?
6. What's up with Dan and Dago these days?
7. Frostbite?
8. Any word on why Mary Dilda isn't in this year?

Come on, Ryan...we know the score. Having watched Jimmy's routine for a couple of decades now, he's got it down to a science. Only qualify in the bracket you think you can win (Bronze)...'play' with the competition for most of the laps during each heat race and then 'fall back' to lose (and keep you in the bracket). And then go out on Sunday and go like hell to win your bracket.

I mean heck...even John Tegler coined this twenty years ago as the 'patented Leeward system'. :-)

Voodoo has a race engine!!!

We finished the ground test run Sunday morning with Jack Hovey at the controls and Mike Barrow looking over his shoulder as they ran the engine up to 98 inches. The engine is ready to install in Voodoo and will be test flown within the next two weeks.

Don't count us out.

The NXTs will be very fast and break some records, but BLUE THUNDER will win on Sunday.

September Fury will win the Gold in a battle for the ages. But, if GG surprises us and still shows up that could all change.

Still thinking about the other classes, and a few dark horses there. Stay tuned.

T-6 class: Dennis Buehn 1st in the gold, with Midnight Miss III, Joey "Gordo" Sanders 1st in the Silver w/Big Red #5, but will bump up to the Gold. Look out for my favorite Marine; Tom Martin in #12 to spank some ass with "Thumper" #12. and Jason Somes will be the most colorful pilot to watch. Go man go... Jason. God Speed you all.

Mystical One... it's sure gonna be different there this year, a HUGE hole in the pits and a matching one in my heart. Two of my favorite folks will not be back to back with one another this year.

Tell ya tho on the predictions... Watched Pappa Goss pull up from behind TDwelle at Nellis last year from the back seat of TinkerToy. Pretty hard to count him out!

I'm putting my Grumman "Show Cat" back togather. The loss of #21 was huge. Wish I could be there. I think it will be a great year for the T-6's.
