I been thinking the same thing. The only news I have heard was the situation with the Dago Team, but it seems that they got it under control. I cant freaking wait!!!!!

I need to make a trip out to Stead to get some updates. But I can tell you Voodoo and Precious Metal both made a couple of flights together 2 weeks ago. Unfortunatley, I couldn't be there when this happened. Also, Rare Bear was doing a run up at the same time. Sooo, I did talk to Ron B. and he was very happy with his plane and the Voodoo team came in on Thursday (2 weeks ago), replaced the engine and they too were very happy.. I'll try to make it out there tomorrow. MIke G

14 days?? Man you guys wait to long!! LOL. I'll be there on the ramp Sunday the 12th by 1PM unless American Airlines goes belly up.

Only wish I had a laptop to upload images. The bank account is drained after making the digital plunge, so that will have to wait for next year.

Sunday? I'll be craning my head starting Thursday night!, and all my friends, family and co-workers know I'm useless for a week.
Even now, whenever something flies over, my son and I are outside with the glasses!

While I was counting the hours to go today, my mind escaped and transported me to the ramp at Stead. I felt the slope of the pits ramp under my feet, and as usual, my feet wouldn't slow down. I wanted to see everything, everybody and every plane. NOW. And then I heard the howl of the Merlin...
I smiled at the thought, the thought of the memories and the thought of the near future.

We are enjoying yet another practice night for Reno. Orange shirts, multiple margaritas, and all our racing videos on surround sound.
