Re: Reno 2021 photo thread.
Great Photos. Is it Sept. yet? I hope I can make 2022 as I will be 90 then & been going since 1946 Cleveland when they had 10 laps on a 30 mile course for 300 miles.

Re: Reno 2021 photo thread.
Trent Palmer and STOL are largely responsible for the fundraising success at the start of the year. Without them there possibly would not have been an event.
They have more than earned their keep

Re: Reno 2021 photo thread.
Over the last couple of years my son has really gotten into the STOLS. He had already drug me kicking and screaming into the jet racer world (he works on the things) so I went along a bit and found during the quali's this year that they were very cool to watch. Different, yeah. But fun and a bit of excitement.
What can I say? I liked T-6 drags also...

Re: Reno 2021 photo thread.
I wasn't all that interested in STOL at first but what the heck...racing is racing! That's what the week is all about. I routed for the older planes. I wish that they would share their results on who won what so I can add some text to my photos. Heck, I wish that they would share some of my photos to their members I posted up to the "STOL DRAG: site.

Being a non-pilot... yes, scum bag ink thrower!! LOL! You've met my neighbor and best buddy Allen (Bonanza "survivor" in the Heritage a few years back) He really liked the STOL stuff.. He's an instructor and made his living as such for a while, from what I gathered, it was just interesting/entertaining to him watching the pilots deal with the challenges from moment to moment.. I'd have to admit, watching the online coverage drew me in..
