Re: Sunday Sept 12, Early Reports

Are there any no-shows in the Unlimiteds this year? I heard that Holbrook Maslen's #88 Yak "Night Witch" is parked next to the Rare Bear pit as of Saturday afternoon. He was a late entry so with the other 27 entries on time he may not race unless there is a no show.

A couple come to mind (that I haven't seen the photos yet) from the RARA list below. Are Miracle Maker and Ole Yeller there?:

Here's a shot of Voodoo in '02- the wheels/tires look the same to me...

Re: Sunday Sept 12, Early Reports

I could be wrong here, but I think the wheels on Voodoo are from a King Air. There definatly not stock, but i'm not 100% on what airplane they're from. I seem to remember reading that this was a modification that Tiger had come up with. The wheels are lighter, better brakes, and better tire availability. Strega has them as well as Huntress if I'm not mistaken.

                    DRMULL and RACE29,

Thanks for picture and replies. Lighter and better brakes makes good sense. I guess I just never noticed them before.
