    They were out again this afternoon. It wasn't nearly as bright and sunny.

    I'm not sure where you lose the sailboat and become a hydroplane. As for a rule book, I think they keep changing it. Last I heard they were going away from the slower thicker foils for thinner faster ones, as if 42 knots was slow.

    Great pics. Really neat to see how things have advanced. So, at what height would this become a hydroplane and no longer a sailboat?

    The current America's cup boats really are pretty impressive to see in person. I headed into S.F. yesterday to witness them for myself. Watching a sailboat do 42+ knots is pretty wild.

    The replica of the schooner America. It was kinda cool seeing how far the race has come in 162 years.
