So you guys are telling me it would be like me calling you Speedweasel and Wacker
I'm just trying to come up with a common theme name.
If I go to the extreem then I have to start naming them things like "For One Week Out Of The Year I'm A Race Pilot"?, "Advanced Trainer" Pilot"?,
"Little Home Made Thing With Sticks and Cloth Pilot"?.
Should they be all just be "Air Show Pilot"? or, I could call this one Bob.
Anyone have any constructive ideas?
Air Show Pilot...
Experimental Pilot...
Pilot...
My only suggestion would be to put the pilot's name and aircraft name in the corner somewhere. Otherwise people will think it's a photo of Capt. McCampbell instead of Skyraider Bob
"Little Home Made Thing With Sticks and Cloth Pilot"?.

I have no constructive ideas..... or ideas at all really. I agree that it is not a "fighter" plane. But it is a plane that did fight, and fought well. Calling it Bob would be appropriate, but not too many people would get it.
The "Little Home Made Thing With Sticks and Cloth Pilot" cracked me up and could be used as a Demotivator.
But in all seriousness, AWESOME artwork Victor! It's just beautiful.

VERY MUCH SO. Victor, I hope you don't take the bantering as disrespecting your work in ANY stretch of the imagination. Just having fun with the symantics.
Are you selling these. I would like a poster size of that Dago / Bear dude. You should approach some of the teams to do posters. That always a cheap way for a team to earn a buck... Stickers and posters. Good autograph material too. Or maybe even screen savers.

Sorry Speed, Just throwing the ball back
Steve had an excellent idea, Thank you for that
"Warbird Pilot" is most accurate but not as catchy...
May be "Mustang Pilot" and "Skyraider Pilot" ... ???
Hmmmm ... "Last flight of the Primary Trainer Pilot" ...
I love the reflection of the wing and the crowd in his glasses. From how far away and with which lens did you capture this incredibly sharp and detailed photo? Every time I see your work it makes me want to sell my camera and buy a disposable Kodak.
you know that poster actually works, a skyraider from the sqaudron that this spad depicts actually shot down a mig-17 when it got too slow in front of him.
