Equipment matters. Sometimes one can fake it with lesser equipment, but its so much easier to take great shots with high end equipment. That said, I did shoot a lot of garbage, you just don't get to see how much I shot. Hahahah.

Hahahah. Well, the shot of the helicopter was taken at 700mm at 1/15 sec hand held. Hahaha. https://www.flickr.com/photos/196954...77720312629332 That was pushing the envelope. The other runup shots with the full disk were 1/40, the C-130 was 1/80 @700mm hand held. Its funny, I kinda want a 600 or 800mm prime lens now. I was scared to try shooting mega focal length at slow shutter speeds, but once I figured out that I could, now I just want more lens.
