I don't see anywhere that it had been named "Precious Baby" before currently.
I forwarded the photos to John and said the second one of his dad he had never seen before. What's the chances of you sending me higher res ones. He'd love to frame them and hang in his hanger.

The D'Alessandris family had twin matching Mustangs in the early 1970's, and later the registrations were officially changed between them.
This one is the one that had been modified with an Allison engine for a while but was changed back to a Merlin.

This was before my time, but I think this airplane was modified as a Racer, and did have a race number, but never actually raced. I'm not sure it ever flew with the Allison.
