The Run:

It was impossible to get a good shot of the crack extending up the side of the block on both sides of the engine but a look at the top left of this image shows not only the beginning of the crack, it shows the width of the crack. This race engine is nearly a total loss (some parts may salvagable) A sad end to a fine week for the 2000 National Champion Air Racer!
