The 500 MPH Lap
The Run:

At the conclusion of the Unlimited Gold Final, as announced in the day's schedule, the Dago Red Racing Team began gearing up for their run at the record.. The first officially recorded 500mph lap ever run at The Reno National Championship Air Races.
