"One down, seven to go" called Project Director Wright as the last bolt was tightened and the men began their decent to the floor below. The small blue box attached to the motor is an electric drive unit installed when the airplane was housed in Long Beach, California. They are mounted on the right side engines and are designed to allow a slow turning of the propellers when on display.
