Wow, more alien technology. Shouldn't you have been in Roswell that week? Fantastic shots Victor. You can see every ripple in the skin. I'm guessing you were at Pylon 4 based on the trees. Dan sure looks like he's having fun.

        Yup, pylon 4...
Dan ran like he was on a rail...
He is most humble as a race pilot and a great person to talk too.

You'll see in a couple days... I just wish I knew a bit more about setting up everything, I have spent a lot of time pre-setting settings on my canon...
Did I mention settings??? Oh yeah... You need to know how to pre-set settings... LOL Ale is a good thing...

That is NOT a Mouse, and from the looks of all the oil running down the side of it, they are far from figuring out any potential.

No "oil" running down the side of the fuse whatsoever, smart guy. Every time we uncowled at PRS the intake ducting was dry as a bone. I believe your eyes are playing tricks on you.

As for the rest of the potential, we'll see come September. And since you seem to know so much about what is and isn't a "Mouse" motor, why don't you come on down to Hollister and help us figure it all out? Sound okay?

Victor, I would like to respectfully point out that to be a Mouse engine it would have had to built by Mystery Aire LTD, an entity which no longer exists. The engines which you are desribing are Allison Rod engines. Dwight Thorn has been very clear to everyone that "Mouse engines" and "Mouse motors" are his monikers, somewhat like taking one of your montage pictures and changing some small detail and calling it their own. Perhaps this comparison will help you to understand. Others may build Allison Rod Motors, but they are not Mice.

                      Thanks, John

So if I change my statement to...
"IF" the Merlin's find there ultimate potential it will be a good race...
Does that work for you all???
                        Have fun and be nice...

I don't know about any oil, but there's seems to be some kelp or algae or something on the stripey parts.

                            Race 5

I'm not sure we met at PRS. I know someone would never make such remarks without actually seeing the airplane in person. That would be a little ignorant to do such a thing.

What you are actually seeing is the result of running at altitude with the Mixture a little rich.

If you would like to see oil down the side of an airplane, stop by a racer that is running a radial.

                              John,
Correct me if I am wrong but I believe that the Allison roded engines coming from Mr. Barrows shop are called "Sparrow Hawk" engines.
