We lost an incredible crew member and fan of air racing recently. You might remember seeing a familiar sight of Gary riding around the pits on his chopped up bicycle sporting a goatee grinning from ear to ear at all times. Gary crewed on the Lickety Split AT-6 crew with Bud Granley for many years and also was an accomplished percussionist in many facets of music in and around the Reno area where he lived. The crews all called him BONGO BOY with affection.
