      Great shots!

When did the Blue Angels Bearcat fly?

My first day was Thursday and I only got to see it up close in the pits.

Monday and Tuesday. I recall they pushed out on Wednesday, but didn't fly. The field of racers was full at that time. Nelson told me they hoped to fly again on Sunday, but obviously events changed that.

It was more than that...it was a paperwork snafu, similar to what Chuck Greenhill's planes faced. 27 planes were eligible. As I understand it (could be wrong) Lou IV, Furias, and the Blue Angel Bearcat all submitted theirs after the entry deadline...so regardless of their qualifying speeds, the 27 planes in front of them were allowed to fill the field.

I was told that as well. The word was that if any planes dropped out, then they would fly.

Seriously, watch the shutter speed, they are way too high for the shots at the pylons. Nobody like propsicles.

Thanks for the info guy's and the photo's.

Even in it's relatively stock form, this is such an amazing aircraft.
