Default Relentless NXT at PRS

Flight testing of the re-built Relentless NXT was completed just in time to go spread her wings in Reno at the 2007 PRS class and formation clinic. This will be the last time she will be seen in primer, #42 is now getting her new paint by the masters Mike Rosales and Mike Fowler. During the week at PRS the NXT ran flawlessly turning unofficial speeds of 345mph and without breaking a sweat. The new NXT Lycoming was breathing great and nothing showed up even close to hot in the 95 degree sun at Stead. Thanks Paul for the augmenter it appears to be working great!

The plane is scheduled to complete its newly designed paint scheme by Mirco Pecorari of Aircraft Studio Design June 25th, plenty of time to make her first debut in Marysville at the West Coast EAA Golden West Fly-in on the 29th. It has been a long road back from New Mexico but a satisfying journey all the same. See you soon.

We are still Relentless!

How about ceramic coating the augmentor? Keeps its finish and may control the heat disipation better.
