My dad took this in 1980 out at pylon 6 during quilifying Shawn

Looks like Chuck Hall in Doug Driscoll's #3 "Section Eight".....the airframe is Chuck Lyford's former "Bardahl Special".

Kind of reminds me of Bob Jones flying his T6 through a tree at a demo race at the Yakima WA airshow several years ago.
