Default Rare Bear flys over the Moon

I shot this on Tuesday. Ron had her in a high orbit around the field and he kept getting closer to where the moon was. I think I had to dive onto the ground to get the angle... But any way here it is...

See....

PLEASE NOTE: THIS PHOTO WAS NOT FAKED IN ANY WAY!!! I was standing next to Vic when he shot this...and we both 'saw it coming'....it was amazing that it worked out just how it did. I thought Victor was going to go giddy when he showed it to me on the viewfinder.

Of course...it took something like a 20,000 mm lens, and three sherpa's to hold it to actually TAKE the picture...but that's beside the point.

That's it -- Victor bought Rare Bear so he could get home. Just needs a new flux capacitor and he's outta here....

Absolutely amazing Victor Really makes me realize how much I missed seeing RB in flight on Saturday and Sunday. I'm already looking forward to next year

Damn it Ron... it's a bear not a cow.

Great shot, but then all yours are, just different levels of greatness.

Very cool, I seem to always look for unique stuff like this to shoot, but don't seem to find it too much.

That's because you need the mother ship and transporter to capture the Bear, take her closer to the moon, get the shot and return her within the 1/320th of a second exposure..

Nobody, including Ron knows it happened.. he blinks, he's moved, Vic takes the shot, brings it all back and nobody's the wiser.. until he publishes the evidence!!

Vic, expect a knock at your door from the men in black!
