OK, anybody know how frustrating it is to type out a whole post then have the computer eat it before you get it sent?

I'll summarize;
- Merlins Magic engine let lose
- I DO NOT know what went wrong
- I DO NOT know why it let go
- The ferry motor should be on soon
- The plan (as heard from Stu D.) is to run the Bronze class
- The crew was thrashing like mad to get the plane ready ASAP

They were still going at it at 0130... I haven't been down that way to see how things went but I'm betting they were one of the early birds that woke me up at 0600.

RARA has MM qualified at at 363 mph, and heat 1b at 355 mph, was that 355 with the ferry engine? if so that looks like a really great run.

an o2 bottle blew up, noone seriously injured but the airplane is pretty damaged, the fuselage is split in half behind the cockpit. after talking to stu's wife they hope to come back next year.
