Re: Sad to see E-Bay Gardner Trophy

I knew a super modified racer from San Jose,Ca named Marshall Sargent & he had a box full of trophies in the garage,in fact he had so many Trophy Dash wins that when he did win he would throw a tennis ball into the stands & whoever caught the ball got the trophy. He only showed the main ones inside the house.

Pure speculation. A person gets old, goes to a resthome, their possessions get put into a storage unit. Family disagreements about storage payments, storage unit payments go into default, storage unit is sold to the highest bidder. Highest bidder sells the possessions, has no attachments to them, just wants to make a profit and get rid of possessions.
