    From Walter Johnson:
"We were unable to attend reno this year due to being to a point of construction that prevented us from transporting Tsunami and elected to put our time and resources into making progress. Here a a couple progress pics. We hope to have more progress content in the near future."

Yes It looks very close to the "sit in it an make engine noises" phase of construction.

It would have been great to see it in the tent at Reno this year, but I'm hoping this means we're closer to seeing it on the ramp some Sunday afternoon soon making its own engine noises.

Are there going to be any design changes from the original Tsunami? Seems like it was being constantly modified and changed when it was flying. Moving the wing etc. How is it going to be flown?

From my understanding, they are building it to the last iteration specs as best they can. There will be a few minor changes that advances in technology have allowed, but aside from those, the goal is to get it as close to what it was when it crashed as possible. They fully intend to race it.
