  • Radials Romp at Reno

Great news about Gary Hubler getting the Furias ride! I expect some big improvements in the speeds of #15 this year for that reason and others. Likewise for the "Czech Mate" Yak-11. And when the Sunday Sept. 14th dust settles, I'm predicting a One-Two Sea Fury finish with September Fury getting the checkers and a new race record. Critical Mass will have its best year, and in general the radials will dominate in 2003. I still think Dago Red will be the first over 500mph qualifying, however.
If #38 returns I look for a strategy from their team to get the Silver trophy this year, and maybe more in 2004. Just guessing.
Watch for a battle between the Tigercat and the new #88 Yak to win the Bronze, or at least keep the V-12s behind them.
