  • News on Cloud Dancer, other stuff.

As most of you know, Jimmy sold Cloud Dancer last month, and on the flight to its new home it suffered an engine failure and had an emergency landing with no injures or damage. What you may not know is what exactly happened and who it was sold to. Also, we still hold the rights to the "Cloud Dancer" name and race number 9 for Reno. The reason we kept those was because Jimmy is contemplating racing his newly acquired A-26 in 2011 as Cloud Dancer. Full story is here.

One last thing is that we have acquired enough parts now to get our Grumman AF2S Guardian back to flying condition. We will then take it on a tour of the United States, and stopping at as many museums and naval bases that we can.

hmmmmm an A-26 on the course... that would be mighty impressive... is she a solid nose or glass nose invader?

Well, we only have one A-26, but two noses for it.

As a big fan of the Guardian all I can say is this is some very exciting news. I hope you guys bring it out West at some point. Reno maybe?

Would LOVE to see that guardian fly! Would'nt that look good in a heritage flight?
Last B-26 I saw there was in '85, the Wright brothers "Puss n' Boots". Very cool. And you thought the F7F was big...

Will it be kept as an On-Mark exec. version?

It would be awesome to see a B26 out with a Tigercat. Doesn't matter what nose is on it, they are both cool. Do you have a picture?
