Mike's dad's name was John, therefore, JB is on the tail.

      Just my guess...
I think John was the radio operator, not the co-pilot.............. Not sure on the signifigance of the #911.

If I remember right, it was a joke amongst Mike's friends when he started racing in 1998. Something to the effect of "they're gonna let you fly? Better call 911 right now..."

I believe the story about Mike's friends saying "call 911" is along the lines of what I heard.

So, no more guesses on the "hidden art"? It wasn't an April fools joke.

hint, it is in the forward part of the aircraft.

Is it in the cowling nose art?

                  Re: Adios Stork!

Well, I give up. My best guess at the "hidden" art is that it's something to do with the fold down foot steps in the large stork. Maybe something hidden inside the footrests?

Is it only on one side or both as I only have the posted close up of the right. Man this is fun trying to figure it out!

                        Re: Adios Stork!

I noticed something funny about the clouds below the storks. My image isn't very clear, but they almost looked like a bunch of little eyeballs. Hmmm...

OK I can see that from looking at my original large photo and zooming in, as there are rivet heads in the center of almost every cloud!
So whats the meaning behind the eyeball clouds?
