Does say he is willing to trade for a Mustang, so not all is lost.

Thanks a lot, Mike Brown for all your great efforts in air racing !

My best wishes for a happy future to all people (and planes) who
were involved in the Pops Team.

What can I say more... It´s sad ...

What is his business, what kind of line of work is it?

Backlit fast food menu boards, AIR.

He told me he bought two lots next to one another on the beach between Waikiki on the walk towards Diamond Head. Not a bad place to flop.

Does anyone know if there's ever been a badder fury than 232? Is it the most highly-modded we've ever seen?

Although I'm a Witch fan before all others, my number on my race car has been 232 for several years (7 and 77 were taken ).

Does CM count? Probably didn't have all the goodies that 232 has but it was pretty bad.

I guess that is yet to be seen. If the Furias guys can get Kerch and crew I think it will be the baddest yet.

If true, it would be a huge loss for the racing community! The thought of not seeing the Tigercat round the pylons would make me very sad!

                    Comments anyone?
232 is totally a class act radial! I have always been blown away at the
speed of that thing even before he clipped the wings! That plane seems
so dailled in now , why quit! I'm an inline guy but loosing one of the TOP
competitors when they are in peak form seems wrong. -G-

Is that a public road? It bet the underwriter goes nuts over that location! Watch for Super Beetles and Minis!

Wouldn't it be something... if Rod Lewis were to buy 232 just to give back the engine that was stolen from Dave Cornell's pet project, now that he owns it?? Hmmmm...

                                Hey Rich,

Just out of curiosity, what makes you believe the motor in 232 was "STOLEN" from the Cornell project racer? September Fury has had four (4) different motors since the racer evolved, so which motor of those do you "think" was stolen from Cornell?
