A good friend to this site and to historic aviation, lost his dear mother yesterday. Ken Perich, who has been one of the major driving forces behind the Rolls-Royce Heritage program, lost his Mother Anne L. Perich. Blue Skies Anne L. Perich


Anne L. Perich
1924 to 2008

Anne L. Perich passed on to be with our Lord on Saturday, October 4'th
at her home with all of her family and loyal caregivers at her side.
Anne was the daughter of Joseph and Pauline Fiorino, and was born in
Coal Run, Pennsylvania. She grew up in Warren, Ohio and went on to serve
in the United States Navy during World War II. Anne served as a
Pharmacist's Mate at the San Diego Naval Hospital during WWII and took
care of the wounded troops coming back from the Pacific Theater.

In 1946, Anne met Pete Perich at a wedding where she was a bride's maid
and Pete was the wedding photographer. After a few dances, Pete told her
he was going to marry her and that they would have 6 children. They were
married in 1948 at the Holy Trinity Serbian Church in Youngstown, Ohio
and recently celebrated their 60^th wedding anniversary this past May.
Following WWII, Anne served as a Medical Technician and Laboratory
Supervisor at St. Joseph's and Trumbull Memorial Hospitals in Warren.

Anne and Pete raised four children in Warren all four graduated from
Warren Western Reserve High School. She leaves behind her loving husband
of 60 years, Pete, her son Ken, his wife Judy, and their three
daughters, Regina, Laura and Sarah of Oak Hill, Virginia; Dr. Larry
Perich, his wife Barb, and their children Tanya and Maverick from Tampa,
Florida; daughter Linda Perich Carpenter, her husband Roy, and their
children Olivia, Brock and Peter; son David, his wife Lynne and
daughters Rachael and Sarah from Plant City, Florida. Anne also had 5
great-grand children; Daric, Julian, Blyss, Dylan, Hunter, and Dillon.
She was cared for by a wonderful group of caretakers through this
journey; Jami, Mary, Bonnie, and Tessa.

Her brother, Joe Fiorino, and sister, Mary D'Amico-Anderson preceded her
in joining our Lord. She leaves behind her sisters Margaret Stankus,
Frances Barna, and Genevieve Miller, and a host of wonderful nieces and
nephews.

Anne was an outstanding mother and member of the community, and believed
in her family first and service to the community. She served her
children and this city by working and managing many community events
over the years.

Anne and her husband Pete owned and operated Perich Studio Photography
Studio and Bridal for over 35 years. It was a very close and
family-oriented business, and they served their many customers and
friends with a personal touch.

Family and friends can join the Perich family for the calling hours on
Monday, October 6th from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Peter Rossi & Son
Memorial Chapel in Warren. A mass will be held at the Saint's Peter and
Paul Church on E. Market Street at 11:00 AM on Tuesday morning with
Father Robert Karl, preceded by a 10:30 AM service at the funeral home.
Anne will be laid to rest at All Souls Cemetery in Cortland, Ohio with
full military honors.
