          Conquest I

Niko- I beg to differ!!! Conquest looked GREAT in the yellow/orange paint scheme!!! Even the natural metal was better than the white!!! All the best, Randy Goss

IMHO the white and blue arrows scheme was by far the best looking.

that's gonna be a never ending argument Niko !!

Niko, j'ai reçu un paquet de diapos de répliques de Hermann (Oshkosh 1995) assez jolies, à montrer pdt EARHS !

sure it's a never ending argument but I prefer the pure 1969 paintscheme, totally white with #1 in red and conquest 1 in black... so pure! Like this, we could read easily her awesome shape!

Sorry Randy, but I still think that the eagle totally "erase" the nice shape of this bear... but nice orange dayglow propellers!

see 1969 paintscheme and 1975 paintscheme to compare

thanks to WAP and Emil Strasser for the pictures

              fred, Crémant 40 E / Btelle ou 4 E/btelle????

I liked the record attempt paint scheme with no race number and an American flag on the fin.

                    Conquest I

I guess......when we get our own Bearcat's- we can paint them any color we please!!!

I agree- that big orange prop looked COOL!!!

I think Conquest would have looked great painted any color!

Thanks for the banter!! All the best, Randy Goss

anyway, Conquest one looks better in the air than in a museum, with any one paintscheme we prefer !...

Seeing Darryl Greenamyer coming back in Reno this year makes me having the dream to see him coming back with a "real" racer next year... Another Cat????

let me dream a bit more

Was'nt he building an unlimited racer, based on the Sea Fury, before the "Kee Bird" incident?

the plane is called 'Shockwave' and from the concept pictures I've seen looks like Tsunami with a radial

                            shockwave

I remember pictures of it being built. Always felt that if anyone had the pool of talent to draw from to pull it off it would be Daryll. Too bad the money was never there.
A lot of these project kinda die a quiet death after the hoopla or become misguided flops. The little of his I remember looked promising. And of course, Daryll's legend suggests he could probably fly the jigs....

                            BTW, is this THE Wardog?
