    Wayne,

I happened to be chatting with one of the pricinpals of the

Cleveland group today, and he expressed disapointment that

thier efforts to get a west coast site going had died a slow

death. So I thought of you and what you had done with the

NAG banquet ................. sugguest you book the Inn at Harris

    Ranch, you pick the date.

P.S. Sparrow and I are having lunch with Charlie Tucker

tomorrow, to bad you won't be there!! guess your square.

    DOC,
My question to Charlie would be ," How did you get that stock Allison to go so far back in 1949?" Even DZ would want to know.

        Kingcobra days

        Doc,
I have always wanted to meet Charlie Tucker myself. Could you ask him if he remembers Lloyd Thompson in Prescott, AZ in 1946 when his two Kingcobras were there? That is my Dad who still lives in that area of Arizona. He helped Charlie, and I think his brother, clip the wings on the P-63s at Prescott.
Can you also ask if he remembers who ferried the P-63s from Kingman to Prescott? My dad ferried one for someone, he doesn't recall who, and no registration number was entered in logbook. I understand several were flying out at the time (with low fuel reserves) and most stopped in Prescott for fuel before proceeding further.
