OK. I did a little legwork on this one.

F-22 Control Surfaces(Devices);

Leading Edge flaps

Ailerons

Flaperons

Stabilators

Rudders

and Vectored Thrust

There are 1.75 million lines of code to orchestrate the deflection of these surfaces(devices) to perform what the pilot asks it to do.

So, in response to your original question...

I guess some folks deserve awards for extreme cleverness. I haven't seen the Raptor live yet, maybe next September?

My 10yr old son misses the car drop. He suggested after the drop, the A-10 should unleash some DU on the car...
