from what I read,

Her spine was broke and twisted, to the point were one would have to do a complete rebuild on the fuse.

She could be rebuilt, but it would basicly be a new plane.

Ironically was raced by Gary Hubler in 1987, placing 4th in the Gold -- Gary's first time in a Gold Race
