  • Shuttle Flight STS-117 De-Orbit

We all enjoyed watching the Shuttle take off a couple weeks ago and now we can watch the De-Orbit and re-entry/landing today live.....
Go to: Nasa.com and click on Launch video player...

Landing is scheduled for 1:55 pm EDT. 10:55 am PDT.

The crew will fire Atlantis' thrusters an hour before to slow the shuttle down for re-entry.......

I'm still getting over the fact that they left without me!!!

Now looks like tomorrow, and 50/50 chance for it to be at Edwards, to boot!

Atlantis down and safe. Just watched it fly overhead and land. Just one of the advantages of living in the middle of nowhere!
