Thank you for the almost-live updates!

Thank you Wayne! It's very tough being in Oregon on the first day of qualifying. I just logged on at lunchtime and saw the news on Dago's record lap. I've been hoping for a 501.238 but I'll take this!
V-12s still rule, but it looks like #232 will be a real contender. I sure hope #86 is okay engine-wise too to keep the Mustangs honest. I expect #86, #77, #7, #15, #38, #5, #11, and #22 to fill out qualifying spots 3 thru 10 in that order.

Thanks to Griffon Girl on the updates to the other classes also! Any chance of a quick report on the no-shows in each class versus the RARA-posted entry lists? At least for the Sport Class and Formula Ones?

      About a QUARTER SECOND FASTER

The thought just occurs to me. If the Unlimited course is still 8.2688 miles then Skip's time would have been 59.80 seconds to score the 497.787 record. A 500 mph lap would be eclipsed at the 59.53 second mark (=500.045 mph).
Just 0.27 seconds makes one think Team Dago might wait for warmer air if there is no wind and give it one more try....
