I had'nt been around fast boats in years. Went camping at Lahontan for the first time this August and watching and listening to the guys playing and tuning sure got the juices flowing (most Cali lakes I've been on have speed limits). Even the wife got the itch.
Can't afford both fast boats and fast cars tho.

I had'nt been around fast boats in years. Went camping at Lahontan for the first time this August and watching and listening to the guys playing and tuning sure got the juices flowing (most Cali lakes I've been on have speed limits). Even the wife got the itch.
Can't afford both fast boats and fast cars tho.

Oh man, I wish I would have known, I would have stopped by and said hi. I'm out there just about every weekend. Ever surfed a lake? Now is the best time to go out and watch those guys get after it. There's hardly anybody out there so they can run all day. Just a few weeks ago the wife and I pulled the boat up to Beach 5 and watched 'em run for about an hour 'till the rest of our crew showed up. Anyways, let me know next time or just stop by.

Didn't expect to start a whole thread on hot boats but I guess motorheads are motorheads. If it goes fast, is difficult to control and makes a lot of noise, its all good! Even an Indy Formula car like this one I shot at Hot August Nights 04. (Let's see where this one goes!)

Actually...it's six nicely painted lawn darts.

No, actually it's one jet, a sequential series of images I took at Reno and laced together. The file is 1' high x 60" wide so with my large format printer a 5' x 24' mural will be a reality. Betcha can't buy one!

Maybe the golf course at Pebble Beach would be a nice place to play lawn darts with these!
