    Mr.Borgstrom had at one time hoped that he could bring the airplane to Reno, but he was injured a few years ago at Reno landing his beautiful Shoestring racer in high winds. After that incident he indicated that he was done with racing, and I've heard nothing since...

      Thanks for that info Neal. Perhaps explains why news on the rebuild of the Sea Fury seems to have gone rather quiet.

        THHHPPPPTTTT!!!! There went a perfectly good monitor and keyboard in a spray of soda from my nose. But on the good side, my sinuses are clear for the first time in weeks

        There have never been funnier cartoons made than those... I can visualize that very scene in my head to this day.
